The Babbersmolen is an historic windmill located on the Poldervaart in the town of Kethel. The mill was originally built in 1710, and was expanded in 1888. The ruins of the Babbersmolen were purchased by the Schiedam Mill Foundation in 2003. The mill is still in very poor condition, and is currently undergoing extensive restoration work. It is hoped that the mill can be restored to working order, and put back into use by 2010.
