The Zeldenrust mill was built in 1866 on the behalf of Mr. A. Pals. In 1890, the mill was sold to Jan Rombouts. The mill remained in the Rombouts family until 1990, when the Zelendrust Mill Foundation was set up to manage it. In 1997, the mill was restored. The Zelendrust Mill is in working order, and can regularly be seen in operation. The mill is open to the public every Saturday, with tours available on other days by appointment.
