The Windmotor Goingarijp was originally built during the 19th century in the area that is now the Rottige Meente nature area in the town of Nijetrijne. In 2007, the mill was moved to Goingarijp, where it was rebuilt and restore d by students from the Drachten ’ROC Friese Poort’. The Windmotor Goingarijp is still in use today. The Windmotor Goingarijp is not currently open to the public.
