The Windmotor 1 in Earnewâld is a watermill of the U.S. Wind Engine design, situated on the road between Garyp and Earnewâld. The mill is medium-sized, with 18 wind sheets, and a flight of 5 metres. The exact date of the mill’s construction is unknown, but it is thought that the mill was built at the start of the 20th century. The Windmotor 1 is still in use today, and is not open to the public.
