The Westerhornermolen is a traditional corn mill located on Poelweg in the town of Grijpskerk. The mill was built in 1829, to replace a mill that had burned down earlier that year. The mill was upgraded to use a diesel engine in 1947, and since then has relied on diesel exclusively instead of wind power. The mill is currently ran by Mr. M. T. Hazenberg. The Westerhornermolen is open to the public, but it is best to call to make an appointment before visiting.
