The Vlietmolen is a relatively modern water mill located on Vlietkade in the town of Hoogmade. The mill was built in 1913 to replace an older mill that had been destroyed in a fire two years previously. The Vlietmolen originally serve the 195 hectare Vlietpolder. In 1956, a part of the roof collapsed, causing serious damage to the interior of the mill. The Rhineland Mill Foundation bought the mill a few years later, but the mill was not restored until 2002. The Vlietmolen is open to the public.
