Vesuvius Mill, Elsloo
Stobbepoel, 8422 AA Elsloo - Netherlands

Map

The Vesuvius Mill is a relatively modern polder mill. It was originally built in the year 1800 by R. W. Dijksma, and was restored by the Vesuvius Club in 1978. The mill was bought by the Fryske Mill Foundation in 1978, and was moved to its current location in the town of Elsloo in 1987. The mill is in a good condition, but the wind profile of the mill is very poor, so the Vesuvius mill can only rarely be seen in operation.
