The White Mill is a traditional corn mill on Oosterbroekweg in the town of Glimmen. The mill was built in 1892 by the mill-maker Medendorm from Zuidlaren. The mill is now owned by the town water board. In 1929 the mill was upgraded to use a gas powered motor instead of relying on wind power alone. Restoration work was carried out in 1971. The mill is open to the public, however it is best to telephone or email before visiting.
