The Grou Tjasker is a modern ’Tjasker’ mill located on Leechlan in the town of Grou. The mill has no official name. The mill was built in 2001 by the former carpenter Sieds Wobbes of Warsteins. The mill was commissioned by Mr E. Liezenga, who placed it in his camping site ’de Alde Stjelp’. Despite it’s relatively recent construction, the Grou Tjasker mill is a fine example of a traditional Tjasker mill.
