The Swallow Mill
Van Echtenstraat 47, 7902 EL Hoogeveen - Netherlands

Map

The Swallow is an historic corn mill in the town of Hoogeveen. The mill was built in 1834, using parts from an older mill that had previously stood on the same site. The interior of the older mill had been destroyed by fire several years before, but the superstructure was salvageable. The mill was restored in 1999, and is now used to produce a variety of grain products, which can be purchased from the mill shop. The mill is open to the public on Fridays and Saturdays.
