The Mountain Mill is a relatively modern watermill in the town of Goutum. The current building was built in 1999 to replace an older building which had been destroyed during a fire in April of that year. The mill is currently owned and maintained by the Fryske Mill Foundation. The Mountain Mill is open to the public, and guided tours are available, although an appointment is usually required.
