The Koutermolen
Molenstraat 46, 4433 AD Hoedekenskerke - Netherlands

Map
The Koutermolen is an historic corn mill located on Molenstraat in the town of Hoedekenskerke. The mill was built in 1874 by M. L. Vessem, to replace an older mill that had been destroyed in a fire the year before. The Koutermolen was ran as a commercial corn mill until 1964, when it was decommissioned and converted into a holiday home. The mill is now owned by the Koutermolen Foundation, and has been restored to working order. The mill is now ran by a small team of voluntary millers.
