The Kievit is a traditional corn mill located on Molenstraat in the town of Grijpskerk. The mill was built by mill-maker M. Noorderwier in 1899 using a typical single flock grindstone design. The mill is now owned by the County of Zuidhorn. The mill was restored in 1974, and is now ran my miller Mr. O. S. Lesman. The Kievit mill is open to the public for a few hours each day during the summer months.
