The Hantumermolen is an histoic polder mill located on Stoepawei in the town of Hantum. The mill was built in 1880 by G. R. van Wieren, and is still in use today as a backup mill to prevent flooding during times of heavy rainfall. The Hantumermolen is now owned by the Dongeradeel Monument Foundation. The mill was restored in 1999, and is open to the public. There are no fixed opening times, however visitors are welcome while the mill is in use.
