The Grote Geesterse Mill, or ’Great Geesterse Mill’ is a working corn mill that was built in 1867 by the Masselink family. The mill replaced the older ’Zandberg’ mill, and used many parts of that mill in its construction. In 1901, the mill was sold to the Kienhuis family. The mill was in use until 1950, and was then decommissioned. In 1997, the mill was restored, and re-opened as a corn mill. It is open to the public on Saturdays, and tours are available on other days by appointment.
