The Concordia Wind Mill was built in 1865, to replace an older ’Standerdmolen’. The Concordia is a ’Stellingmolen’ – a more modern kind of mill with much higher sails, and a ’stelling’, or walkway, for the miller to use to reach the sails. The mill became the property of the ’Friends of The Gelderse Mill’ charity in 2000, and was dismantled in 2003 in anticipation of some building works on the Molenstraat. The mill was rebuilt in 2007.
