The Company Mill was built in 1851. It was in active use until 1930 when it was briefly decommissioned. The mill was restored during the Second World War, and was sold to the Wieringen Mill Foundation, who still own the mill today.. It was idle for several years before it was restored in 2000. The Company mill is open to the public every Tuesday and Wednesday, with tours available on other days by appointment only.
