The Bosmolen is a working polder mill in the town of Egmond aan de Hoef. It was built in 1565 to serve the Bosmolen Polder. It is one of the oldest remaining mills in the area. The mill was decommissioned in 1948, and stood idle for many years. In 1980, the Alkmaar Mill Society funded a major restoration operation. When the weather is suitable, the mill can be seen in operation. Tours of the Bosmolen can be arranged upon request.
