Map
The Remonstrantse Church was built between 1886 and 1887, it opened on the 29th May 1887. At the time the church opened, it was the only established church in Haarlem, as the others had closed because of the religious persecution that the Netherlands had suffered over the past few hundred years. The church was build in a Renaissance style, with the basic form being a cross running south to north. The organ was built by John Frederick White, and dates back to 1901.
