The Poolmolen is a picturesque 17th century water mill located on Poolmolen in the town of Hollum. The mill was built in 1662, and was originally used as a corn mill. The Poolmolen was originally owned by the Lumens family. In 1902, it was sold to the Geilen family, who still own the mill today. The Poolmolen is the last remaining working watmill on the Gelenbeek river. It is used to provide flour to local bakers.
