The Museum van Egmond is located in Egmond aan Zee, and is devoted to the history of the town, and its neighbours -Egmond aan den Hoef, and Egmond Binnen. The museum has rotating exhibitions on subjects such as the history of the two lighthouses of Egmond, and the story of ’Mad Wouter’, one of the lords of Egmond. The collections also include local craft items and traditional costumes. The museum offers guided tours, although these must be arranged in advance.
