The Molen Bakker is an historic corn mill located on Kerkweg in the town of Giethoorn. The mill was built in 1878 for the miller D. Forest. The Molen Bakker was in use until 1927, when it was sold to a hotel owner who dismantled the mill to convert the area into a camping site. The mill body also serves as a watchtower. Today, the Molen Bakker has been converted into a home, although there are ongoing talks regarding the restoration of the mill.
