Lake Karpendonk is one of several lakes in Eindhoven. The town of Eindhoven is a very beautiful place, with many shallow lakes and beautiful wooded areas. The land around Lake Karpendonk is popular for many festivals and activities which take place throughout the year, including the ’Eindhoven Ballooning’ where many interesting and unusual hot air balloons are flown. There are many hotels near the lake, which offer some spectacular views.
