The ’Kringenwetwoning Rijnlanderweg’ is an old farm located on Rijnlanderweg in the town of Hoofddorp. The Kringenwetwoning is a part of the Defence Line of Amsterdam. The farms and buildings built near the Defence Line were wooden ones that could quickly be destroyed if needed, and there were restrictions on the kinds of food that could be planted on the farms. The Kringenwetwoning is now a Unesco protected heritage site.
