The Joannusmolen is an historic corn mill that was originally built for use as a polder mill. In 1894 it was converted to a corn mill, after falling in to disuse when the nearby polders had their pumps converted to steam power in 1979. The mill has had several owners, and is now operated by Mr WG Thonnissen, and produces grain for use in a variety of organic products. The mill is open to visitors by appointment only.
