The Huizer Museum is a cultural museum devoted to the history of the Huizen area. The museum covers the history of the town and looks at what life was like in Huizen between 1850 and 1950. Displays include pottery, period costumes, and items related to farming and trade. There is also a section titled “Between Now Past” which is devoted to contemporary art. The museum opened in 1995, and is housed in a converted 17th century farm.
