The De Hoge Veluwe National Park spans 5,000 hectares of Dutch countryside, including woodlands, moorland, fenland and sand drifts. The De Hogue Veluwe National Park has clearly marked walking routes and cycle paths, and there are bikes available for use within the park for free. Special bikes are available for use by those with disabilities. The national park is home to several varieties of endangered plants and animals.
