The Hoekmolen is a historic water mill located on Kanaaldijk in the town of Hei-Boeicop. The exact age of the mill is not known, but it is believed to be one of the older mills on the Merwede canal. The mill was used to drain the Lower Heikoop polder until 1945, and was bought by the regional Water Authority in 1960. In 2004, the mill was severely damaged by a fire. Over a period of about 1 year, extensive restoration work was performed, and the mill is now in active use once again.
