The Historical Open Air Museum in Eindhoven is a living museum with exhibitions and activities related to life in various time periods – from the iron ages to medieval times. There are lots of tours and activities, ranging from bread making to wood cutting, wool spinning, and even sailing in canoes made from hollowed-out tree trunks. The museum has restaurants serving both traditional and modern foods. Each month there are demonstrations and activities based on different themes.
