The Het Roosje Workshop is a traditional wood carving workshop in the town of Hindeloopen. The workshop was established in 1894, and visitors can learn about the traditional crafts practiced by the people of the town. Hindeloopen is well known for its talented craftspeople, who in the past would produce colourful, vivid carved designs on almost anything made of wood, including intricately entwined vines and detailed carvings of flowers. Today, many of these designs are commonly associated with the Pennsylvania Dutch in America.
