The Grote Kerk in Enschede is one of four religious buildings in the area. It is a Dutch Reformed church, located just off the Oude Markt. The original building was destroyed by a fire, but the church was rebuilt in 1865. The church has a rich history – in 1893, the Van Dam organ was played there for the first time. The church is open to visitors two days a week – it is best to call to confirm opening days and times.
