The Groenendaalsmolen is a relatively modern water mill located in a very scenic part of the village of Billinghuizen. The mill was built in 1953, to replace an older mill that had been destroyed by a fire. The mill was originally owned by the Angels family, who used it as a corn mill. In 1958, the Groenendaalsmolen was decommissioned, and sold to the Gerrekens family. The Groendaalsmolen has been converted into a dwelling, and is now used as a private residence.
