The Grenszicht Mill was built in 1907 by J. H. Schulte of Ter Apel. The mill was originally owned by J. R. Hooge. It was sold to G. H. Geerdink in 1920, and is still owned by the Geerdink family today. The mill was idle for a few years, but was restored in 1975, and is now ran on an occasional basis. The mill is open to the public, and admission is free, but it is best to call to make an appointment before visiting.
