The Goudriaanse Mill is a historic polder mill. It was built in 1779, on the site of a former ’wipmolen’. In 1851 the mill was elevated by approximately 3 feet, giving it a better wind profile, and increasing its pumping capacity. The Goudriaanse Mill is the largest mill in the area. It is currently owned by the Foundation for the Conservation of Mills in the Alblasserwaard and Vijfheerenlanden. The mill is not currently open to the public.
