The ’eXplorion’ Science Center is located in Heerlen. The center is devoted to science, and has a strong focus on astronomy, although other subjects are also covered. Exhibitions of interest at the ’eXplorion’ Science Center include a display of space related art, a collection of telescopes and a small observatory, and displays on optical illusions. The exhibition is very hands-on, and children of all ages will enjoy touring the facilities and learning about space.
