The Dudok Centrum is a small museum in the basement of the town hall. It is devoted to the Willem Marinus Dudok, the public works director of the town, and an accomplished architect. The museum covers his life and works, and also issues copies of a leaflet which describes the ’Dudok Route’ – a walk around Hilversum which shows you a number of the buildings which Willem designed during his career. Willem M. Dudok lived from 1884 to 1974, and was greatly influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright.
