The Doesmolen is a historic polder mill located on Doespolderkade in the town of Hoogmade. The mill was built in 1630 to serve the 90 hecatre Doespolder. The mill was decommissioned in 1953. The Rhineland Mill Foundation bought the mill in 1963, and began restoration work in 1965. The Doesmolen suffered minor damage during a storm in 1978. The mill is open to the public, and guided tours can be arranged upon request.
