The Wimmenumer Mill was built in 1774 to replace an older, smaller wipmolen that had been demolished the previous year. The Wimmenumer mill was in use until 1951, when it was replaced by an electric mill. The owner sold the builting to Mr Zwijnenberg, who used it as a dwelling. In 1967, the mill was restored, and is now used as a summer home. The mill can be seen in operation when the weather is suitable, and tours can be arranged upon request.
