Map

The Korenmolen is a traditional corn mill located on Kortebrugstraat in the town of Etten-Leur. The windmill was built in 1849 to replace an older horse-driven grain mill. It is a round-stones stellingmolen. This design of mill was very popular in the 19th century. The tall body allows for higher sails, and the walkway around the middle of the mill was used by the miller to tend to the sails. The Korenmill was decommissioned in 1921, and in the 1940s many of its parts were removed and sold for use in other mills.
