The De Hoop mill in Elspeet is an old corn mill that was built in 1897. The was originally built in 1847 in the town of Wateringen, and was used as a polder mill. It was moved from Wateringen in 1894. The mill has had several owners, and underwent extensive restoration between 1962 and 1972. The mill is currently owned by A. Beelen, and is currently in a poor condition.
