The De Hoop Mill is an historic corn mill located on Vijverstraat in the town of Heinkenszand. The mill is a classic round-stones ’stellingmolen’ with a walkway around the outside of the mill that allows the miller to reach the sails of the mill. The De Hoop Mill was built in 1850, and was in use until 1947. The mill had it’s sails and tail removed in the 1970s, and now only the main building remains. The mill is now used as a private dwelling.
