The Collse Watermill in Eindhoven is a traditional water mill that uses two waterwheels for its power. The Watermill was built by monks in the thirteenth century, and later came into the feudal ownership of the Duke of Brabant. One wheel was used to power a corn mill, and the second was used for an oilpress. In the 1950s, local farmers stopped growing grain, and the mill fell into disuse. There are plans to restore the mill and the oilpress. The mill is open to visitors every Saturday morning.
