The Braakmolen in Goor is a working corn mill. It was built in 1856, after the previous mill was destroyed. The mill was made from parts taken from other mills, and the cap is a little too small for the hull, giving the mill a unique appearance. The mill was in use until 1923. Today, the mill is owned by The Holland Mill Foundation, and has been restored to working order. The mill is open to the public, but opening times are limited – it is best to call in advance before visiting.
