Wind Windmotor Burdaard is a modern watermill located just to the north North of Klaarkampsterweg, on the road to Sybrandahuis in the town of Burdaard. The mill is a fairly small U.S. Wind Engine, with a flight of just 4.5 metres. The U.S. Wind Engine design was very common in the Friesland region during the first half of the 20th century, although many of the mills using the design have been decommissioned in recent years. The Windmotor Burdaard is not currently open to the public.
