The Windmotor Broek is a relatively modern water mill. It was built in 1915 by the mill-maker and blacksmith Lubbert van der Laan, using an American design. There are only a handful of working mills in the Netherlands which use this design, and because of this, the Windmotor Broek is now a listed building. The mill was restored in 2004, and is still in use today, as a drainage mill for the local Broek Polder.
