The Windmotor Swerts is a fairly modern watermill located on the Oosterwierumer Oudvaart in the town of Britswerts. The mill was built in 1925, and is of a U.S. Wind Engine design. The mill has 18 wind blades, and is in very good condition. The Windmotor Swerts is recognised as a national monument. There are very few U.S. Wind Engine mills still in working order in the Netherlands. The Windmotor Swerts is not open to the public.
