The Westermolen is a working corn mill located on molenstraat in the town of Dalfsen. Building of the mill was commissioned by Gerrit Helmus Fast in 1818, and the mill house was built in 1823. The mill was in active use until 1951. In 1956, restoration work was performed, but the mill was closed again in 1962 when structural defects were found. The mill was bought by the town in 1987, and further restoration work was performed. The mill is now used to produce flour, and is opened to the public every Saturday morning.
