The Veldkamp’s Meul’n mill was built for R. H. Mulder in 1855. It is a oil and corn mill. In 1869 it was severely damaged in a storm, but it was promptly restored. In 1956 the mill was sold to the town of Bellingwolde. In 2002 there mill underwent a lot of restoration work carried out on the structure and the hood. The mill is open to the public every Saturday, with tours available by appointment at other times.
