The Tropenmuseum is an ethnographic museum, with a collection of art, photographs, music and films from around the world. There are a variety of temporary exhibitions, and eight permanent ones covering Southeas Asia, Oceana, Western Asica, North Africa, Africa, and Latin America. The museum aims to bring these culture to life, and give visitors a taste of other parts of the world through their art, music, and theatre. Tours are available in several languages, including English.
