The Roos Mill

The Roos is a working corn mill located on Phoenixstraat in the town of Delft. The mill uses two round torque grindstones. There has been a mill on the site since 1679, but the first mill was destroyed by a storm. The mill that stands there today was built in 1727. It is still in use today, and if the weather is suitable, it can be seen in operation each Saturday. The mill is now owned by the Dutch Windmill Association.
